“ My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on a whim. What a meal! From start to finish, our waitress, Alison, was personable, professional and helpful. The mushroom cobbler was to die for. The beet salad was amazing and probably the best I've ever had. We had Italian sausage pizza which was delicious. Last but not least was the chocolate mascarpone cheesecake. Oh. My. God. It was heaven! Just delicious. All this delightful food was accompanied by a fine and modestly priced barbera and thoroughly enjoyed in one of the best atmospheres I have experienced in a very long time. All in all, this restaurant might possibly be one of the best, if not THE BEST, places I have dined in, ever. Hands down. My compliments to the chef, the other cooks in the kitchen and the lovely Alison. I cannot wait to visit here again. ”

The Grilled Calamari was unlike anything we've ever had—uniquely prepared, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Hands down the best calamari we've ever tasted. We also tried the Pan Seared Fresh Steelhead Trout dish, and it was equally impressive—fresh, tender, and full of delicious flavors. Every bite was a treat. “ Super consistent, higher level fare for our small area that I'm happy to pay top for. Wait staff is professional and friendly. Had the duck in an amazing, not too heavy sauce with on point elevated mashers - duck was cooked a bit rare, so much flavor. The pizzas are a great value and probably some of the best of the county. The red barbera was a generous pour and surprisingly smooth - no headache after 2 glasses. No dessert this time but they have not disappointed in the past. ”

We sat at the bar and witnessed a true performance in grace and excellence. The balance and skill of the wait staff and the kitchen team can only be described as they were in a State of Flow! “ So cozy, you can see why reservations are suggested! I was able to sneak in for a solo Monday night Mac. All food tasted better cooked on real fire The servers are diligent, super friendly and attentive! There’s a small bar in the restaurant with a great view of the fireplace and all the delicious meals as they become ready to serve. I love watching the fire, especially in the winter, it’s a real treat. The Italian Mac includes lovely vegetables and olives, making it a bit closer to the Pasta Primavera side of the creamy-Mac spectrum. Completely decadent, not too heavy, with a perfectly toasted and crispy layer of parm and cheese on top. ”

I’m generally pretty good at guessing what something will taste like and I was delightfully wrong about every part because of the sheer complexity of flavor layering. The servers were all friendly and helpful, the music was so good, and the atmosphere was perfect for a fun date (make reservations). 10/10 would recommend. ”
“ Awesome little spot for Italian. Great service and ambiance is very European. Wine list is extensive. Nice local beers. We had the pizzas, which were great. The gluten free crust was on the thicker side and wasn't our preferred style, but the regular crust was great. ”
